Featured Careers

The National Wildlife Federation provides a host of different opportunities to volunteer and assist us in our mission. Our volunteers help us in the community, state, and at the national level to succeed in our three objectives: provide solutions to climate change, protect and restore wildlife habitat, and to connect people - especially kids - with nature.

1. Requirements

In order to be considered for these special calls, you must first register your profile. Each of these special calls has a unique code which you must directly select from your profile page. You can find this code and application instructions in the last paragraph of the description of the assignment, available once you click in the boxes below. Please note that this is not a complete list of all current UN Volunteer opportunities. Less often, opportunities to volunteer online are also advertised here.

The majority of assignments are filled by candidates whose profiles are matched directly from our Global Talent Pool.

The cohesion, encouragement, and inspiration of the team of volunteers have been immense. My online collaboration is easily on par with that of a face-to-face setting.

RYAN BROWN

It has provided me with a schedule to my week, comradeship, a feeling of being of value, emotional support, and an opportunity for me to repay by helping to carry out our work.

DENIS COOK

I'm glad to support others, my personal experience helped to highlight the importance of charity, providing support to people and in attracting research into this healthcare area.

THERESA JENKINS

VOLUNTEER

What inspires me to volunteer is knowing that as much as I give out I get right back. Volunteering at an event allows me to connect with others, to just help and have a purpose.
